About Us
The Narrative Lab is a communications and public relations studio helping mission-driven organizations bring science, health, and public health to life through clear, compelling storytelling. We promote ideas, individuals, and organizations to inspire and change the world.
Our team brings together scientists, epidemiologists, public health experts, journalists, and content creators— many of us former U.S. government staff who have spent years working across global health, humanitarian response, research, and development programs around the world.
We founded The Narrative Lab in 2025 with a simple insight: mission-driven organizations do extraordinary work, but too often their impact goes unseen, misunderstood, or undercommunicated. What began as a small effort to support USAID and U.S. government implementing partners has grown into a full-fledged communications studio serving global health organizations, universities, NGOs, public health agencies, and public-sector teams committed to improving health and equity.
Our strength lies in our cross-technical expertise. We specialize in translating complex ideas — from epidemiological data to scientific breakthroughs to policy insights — into accessible, compelling narratives that resonate with donors, policymakers, journalists, and communities. Because we come from the fields we write about, we know how to communicate evidence without losing rigor, and how to craft stories that honor accuracy, nuance, and context.
We are driven by empathy, diversity, teamwork, and impact. We work across multiple languages and regions, supporting clients in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Kiswahili, and more. Whether we are elevating frontline stories, shaping a global media strategy, or editing annual impact reports, our goal is the same: to make sure your science, your mission, and your impact are understood and seen.
